Rogue is an exercise + wellness program for people with Parkinson’s. Our team is made up of physical and occupational therapists, but we do not provide traditional, insurance based therapy. We are bridging the gap between insurance based therapy and community exercise classes.

We focus on offering ongoing to access to exercise, through group classes and individual exercise session. This is not covered by most insurances.

Group Exercise Classes

Our main focus is exercise classes. We offer our classes through a monthly exercise membership.

COST: Our monthly membership starts at $180/month and increases based on the number of exercise classes per week that the individual participates in!

Individual Exercise Sessions

Some of our members prefer to exercise with us 1:1. You will work with a Parkinson’s specialist physical therapist and we can tailor the entire workout to your goals. This is ideal for someone who had utilized their insurance benefits, but would like to have continued, individual support.

COST: The rate for our 1:1 sessions is $160 for an hour long session.

Comprehensive Wellness Assessment

Our exercise programs (group and individual exercise) include a comprehensive assessment when someone first joins, and every 6 months after that.

We assess many areas of function including fine motor dexterity, grip strength, processing speed, walking speed, balance, endurance and more! Most of our assessments have age norms, that we can use to set goals and assess where someone is regarding their function.

If you are interested in completing this assessment separate from regular exercise sessions, that can be scheduled on a case by case basis. The assessment typically takes 1.5 hours and the cost is $240.

Receiving a diagnosis of Parkinson’s can be overwhelming. Exercise is one of the most important treatment strategies to help people improve their health and has the potential to slow the progression of Parkinson’s over time.

We have found that when getting started with an exercise program it is very helpful to work with a physical therapist 1:1 so that all exercise can be optimized for the individual . Classes can also be part of this program if the schedule allows!

COST: The cost of this program is $1800. It includes 10 1:1 sessions with a physical therapist, with an assessment at the beginning and end. It also includes exercise classes, 1-2/week, depending on your availability.
